The Senner Tuning Audi RS5 Supercar Tuning Program

The Audi RS5 supercar tuning program by Senner Tuning gives the sleek and sexy Audi coupe more power, better looks, and sharper handling.

The Audi RS5 is the performance-oriented version of the extremely popular coupe. The Audi A5 model that the RS5 is based on is renowned for its sleek and sexy modern styling, superb ride, and luxury. The RS5 takes all of these aspects to another level aimed at performance with a high-revving 4.2-liter V-8 engine, track-tuned suspension, and sporty upgrades.

Senner Tuning, the supercar tuning company based in Germany, cranked the Audi RS5 up a notch with a new performance and style program designed to turn heads and smoke tires. The German coupe was given a new suspension, engine upgrades, sportier wheel and tire fitment, and several exterior upgrades as part of the supercar tuning program.

The first aspect to receive an upgrade from Senner Tuning was the engine. The high-revving 4.2-liter V-8 engine that powers the Audi RS5 is one of the most powerful naturally-aspirated engines on the market. A new stainless steel exhaust system was installed by Senner Tuning that features stainless steel valve control, and zero pressure monitoring system. As part of the supercar tuning program, the German company also gave the performance car an ECU tune that helped boost power to 506 horsepower and 352 lb-ft. of torque, up from the stock 450 horsepower and 317 lb-ft. of torque. After the engine upgrades, the Senner Tuning Audi RS5 can accelerate to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 174 mph.

In order to handle the added power, the stock suspension and wheels of the Audi RS5 had to be upgraded. The original suspension was replaced with a new Bilstein B16 PSS10 coilover system with ten-way adjustable compression and train. The upgrade helps make the Audi RS5 more balanced when driving through corners and allows drivers to create the perfect setup for a given track. The supercar tuning program also included a new set of wheels and tires. Senner Tuning installed stronger VARA T1S wheels in a 9.5 x 20 front and 11 x 20 rear fitment. The front wheels were given 255/30 R20 Vredestein Sessanta Ultrac (XL), while the rears were fitted with 295/25 R20 tires.

The exterior was also given a few new upgrades. Each side mirror was replaced with new black carbon fiber components for a sportier look, while the grilles and window frames were replaced with new black units.
